Engineer’s Day Celebrated at Campus

‘We do not fear the future, because of what we have achieved and what we will achieve’

With this mesmerizing thought SBIT carried forward its legacy of celebrating Engineer’s Day on September 15, 2012 for another spectacular display of talents by the young engineers of SBIT. In India, this day is celebrated in the honor of Sri M Visvesvarya (1861-1962), who was internationally recognized for his genius in harnessing water resources in the southern parts of India.

Engineer’s Day was celebrated with great ardor to showcase the talent of young engineers of SBIT. Various activities were incorporated to enhance physical and intellectual growth of the students.

A day when all the students irrespective of their respective streams think and work like an engineer, for the development of first their nation, then for their institute, then for their parents and then in the end if something retards then for themselves.

Mr. & Ms. Engineer, What’s the Answer Quiz, Code Chef (C Programming), Nazar (Photography Contest), Hands on Mobile (Fastest messaging contest) and numerous other intellect events were lined up for the students in the campus. Main highlight was Expo (Exhibition of Projects) wherein the best Projects designed by students of the Institute were displayed.

The whole Institute seemed to be buzzing around with the fun and frolic throughout the day. Ms. Sushi Yadav, Chairperson SBIT, Mr. Rajesh Yadav, Vice Chairman along with Prof. C.A Babji Rao, Dean - SBIT acknowledged the laurels to the winners in the Institute Auditorium itself in the evening.

Madame Chairperson Ms. Sushil Yadav, SBIT also in her address congratulated the whole organizing team of for leaving such an impetus event.

Students and faculty members expressed their delight while gathering knowledge from various events.

A talented mind should always be enlightened and the enlightenment would only be by an applause. But just praising does not fulfill the motive, what fulfill is an appraisal which beautify the work and an acknowledgement which increases another feather to kitty.

With these cogent words the curtain was down for such enthralling day.
