SBIT sign MoU with Oracle

SBIT becomes member of ORACLE University and its Workforce Development Program (WDP).

As part of its ongoing commitment to enhance the skills of engineers in the Institute and work more closer with the industry, SBIT Sonepat has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Oracle for conducting the Oracle Workforce Development Programs (WDP) in the Institute.

The faculty members and students of the Institute will be trained in using software developed by the Oracle. Technology and technical support will be provided by the Oracle Corporation to the Institute and the students will be given concession for the course material. By signing the agreement SBIT becomes the member of Oracle University and its WDP. The Oracle University enables
• Institute to deliver Oracle training to students in their campus
• Extend Opportunities to impart Oracle certified training at an affordable cost
• Hands on experience on Oracle Software

Oracle awards different levels of certifications to students such as
• Oracle Certified Associate (OCA)
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) and
• Oracle Certified Masters (OCM)

Oracle Certified Professionals have the proven skills and training to maintain projects on time and on budget, leading to a quicker return on investment for customers.

This is major step which will make Oracle training and certifications more accessible to students at very reasonable rates and also bridge the demand - supply gap of Oracle Certified Professionals in the IT industry.
