Second National Robotics Challenge held at SBIT

SBIT, Sonepat organized its Second National Robotics Challenge on 22nd March 2012.

National Robotics Challenge (NRC) is organized in association Building Blocks, in collaboration with IEEE student branch, Computer Society of India (CSI) student chapter and Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) student branch and sponsored by HCL.

NRC is an Indian Premier Robotics Competition that brings the genius under one roof. The competition was divided into three main cadre - Robo Race, Robo War and Line Follower. More than 100 students from various colleges of NCR and Haryana participated in this Robotics Competition, to name a few: Delhi Technological University, DCR University of Science and Technology, BMIET, Hindu College and many more. 

Students participated with full enthusiasm in the robotics crusade and in the evening there was a prize distribution ceremony for the winners of the Competition by the prominent Chief Guest - Prof. M.M Sharma, Former Scientist, DRDO, Govt of India.

Prof. M.M Sharma also praised the ‘colossal efforts of the management, students and all the organizing team for organizing such an informative yet an abtrusive competition.

At the prize distribution ceremony, Ms. Yogita Bhalla from Building Blocks was overwhelmed by the robotics caricature and praised Ms. Sushil Yadav, Chairperson, SBIT for her efforts along with the students for organizing such a mega events in campus.

The students and faculty members expressed their delight while gathering knowledge in an altruistic manner in the campus
