SBIT is awarded Best Engineering Institute from NCR (Sonepat)

SBIT is ranked 1st in “5th ALL INDIA EXCELLENCE AWARD” as the “Best Engineering Institute from NCR (Sonepat)” among “Private College Category” under the management committee of “Buildcon Publications Pvt. Ltd” organized by “Indian Achievers’ Podium”, which  is a nonprofit organization comprising of group of enterprising Journalists, writers and leading Industrialists.

Ms. Sushil, Chairperson, SB Group of Institutions, received this award from Hon’ble MP, Mr Jai Prakash Agarwal, President, Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) on 18 February 2011 in an award ceremony held at Constitution Club in Delhi. 

HCL Selects 8 Students from CSE & IT

Post AMCAT Examination held in October 2010 followed by Tech & HR Interviews on 19th & 21st Feb, 2011, HCL Comnet has selected 8 students from CSE & IT branch, 2011 Batch with the annual package of 2.8 lacs p.a.

About The Company:

AIMA 7th National Student Management Quiz (NSMQ) held at campus

Shri Balwant Institute of Management (SBIM), Sonepat, celebrated the season’s warmest day with the Seventh National Student Management Quiz (NSMQ-2011) under the patronage of AIMA, an apex body of management. It was a great event along with the visit of the French Engineering College (ECAM) team represented by Vincent Caille, HOD – Mechanical Engineering and Edith Frey- Head of International Relations. Ms Reema Gurung of the French Embassy accompanied the two delegations exchanging program and invited the students to visit their institution at Lyon.

SBIM organized a Grand Finale of ‘Leadership Talent Hunt-2011″ at the campus on 10 February 2011. Miss Anamika from IRS College, Muzaffarpur, Bihar and Miss Shristi from Dyal Singh College, Delhi was awarded as the winners of “Leadership Talent Hunt- 2011”.

Post Online Test on 22 January 2011 and HR & Technical interview on 8 February 2011, Syntel Incorporation has selected 10 students from CSE/IT/ECE Branch at a package of Rs 2.6 –  2.8  lacs PA.

ISTE Student Chapter Launched at SBIT

On 3 of February 2011 SBIT has launched the student chapter of ISTE. In the launching ceremony, Dr Ranjit Singh, Executive Secretary and the Programme Director, ISTE awarded the certificate to Ms. Sushil, Chairperson, SBIT enabling the Institution to be enrolled as student chapter of the ISTE fraternity. Dr. Dharmender Yadav, member of ISTE was also present at the function, expressed his delight and congratulated the membership awarded to SBIT.

It is surely the hall-mark and an achievement to be proud of. Madam Sushil, Chairperson, SBIT along with Mr. Rajesh Yadav, Vice Chairman pondered to requirement of the student chapter and would enable the students and the faculty members to cultivate a spirit of learning, while maintaining an effective linkage between technical institution,  industry & the society.

Dean of SBIT, Mr Naveen Rathee, heralds the launching of the programme as he commented that it foster research as a function complementary to teaching. The students are proud to be a part of the programme to rejoice the consistent growth & considered its remarkable trend to bring across the benefit to formulate the specific goals and responsibilities of technical education.
