AIMA 7th National Student Management Quiz (NSMQ) held at campus

Shri Balwant Institute of Management (SBIM), Sonepat, celebrated the season’s warmest day with the Seventh National Student Management Quiz (NSMQ-2011) under the patronage of AIMA, an apex body of management. It was a great event along with the visit of the French Engineering College (ECAM) team represented by Vincent Caille, HOD – Mechanical Engineering and Edith Frey- Head of International Relations. Ms Reema Gurung of the French Embassy accompanied the two delegations exchanging program and invited the students to visit their institution at Lyon.

Ms Vandana Puri, Deputy Director of AIMA, had been present to open the competition for the participants representing their institute from the northern zone. It had been the first preliminaries of the regional rounds where more than 50 teams participated from various colleges & universities of Northern part of India. The six teams selected from the preliminary finale had chosen cracking their wits with zeal & determination to carry away the final laurels.

The Quiz Master, Ajay Punia, took the stage as the host of the show. Being witty & sparkling anchored the battle of brains with much panache. The quiz encompassing the five rounds began with a warm up for all till the six teams for the final preliminary round has been chosen and namely were Lovely Professional University represented by Harvansh Kumar & Kanika, SBIT represented by Pankaj & Ashwini followed by Hindu Institute of Management represented by Bhavya & Renu, Students of SBIM Vishal Rana and Deepansh Yadav, LPU represented by Akshay Bhatia & Gowhar Rasool and sixth contender Skyline Business School represented by Dheeraj & Donny.

The winner of 7^th National Student Management Quiz of Sonepat Round were Harivansh Kumar & Kanika form LPU, 1^st Runner Up were Akshay Bhatia & Gowhar Rasool from LPU and 2^nd Runner up trophy was begged by the host college SBIM team represented by Vishal Rana and Deepansh Yadav.

Chief Guest for the Event Mr Paveen Yadav (Regional Head-Cushman & Wakefield), Chairperson Ms Sushil and Vice-Chairman Mr Rajesh Yadav acknowledged the prizes to the winners. The winners of Sonepat round will now participate in the Grand Finale which will be held at Greater Noida on 26^th March.
