Explorica 2014 held at Campus

SBIT, Sonepat celebrated it’s Annual Inter College Cultural and Sports Fest, Explorica 2014 themed Action Replay : Back to the Future on 14-15 November, 2014 with great ardor.

Explorica 2014 provided an atmosphere that nurtured students who were encouraged to do what they believe in. The 2-day fest was a blend of cultural, literary and sports events encapsulated with the creativity of students and sponsored by some renowned brands. The fest had 200 students from various colleges across Delhi and Haryana and far beyond.

The fest had a diverse spectrum of “On Stage” and “Off Stage” events. There were debates and competitions comprising of dance, music and fashion shows reconciling to the theme ‘Action Replay: Back to the Future’. Explorica showcases the talents of the students and other performances created an ambience which became a show-stopper.

On the second day of the fest, the cultural segment began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, various dance and singing performances.

The occassion was graced by Dr. Ranjit Singh, former Director of NSIT, New Delhi. Ms. Sushil Yadav, Chairperson, SBIT, appreciated the students for making the fest a huge success. She mentioned that Explorica provided an opportunity for students to unleash their imagination and show their abilities and skills.

The fest was a big hit as a result of rigorous hard work of the core team and the endeavor of the organizing team. The student participation in various competitions spoke of the interest shown and the young minds worked diligently to achieve their own success and gain more experience.

On the Second day of the fest, the Prize Distribution Ceremony was carried out marking the relive for the stern hard work by the team and making a captivating end to all the events. All the winners of various categories and the organizing team were awarded with trophies and certificates by Dr. Ranjit Singh and Ms. Sushil Yadav.

The students exclaimed that Explorica provided them the chance to explore their creative side to showcase their talent. The stage was set for the youngsters to take over and their performance illuminated every ones heart. The festival ended on a happy note as “Success comes with being winners forever.”
