Ford Training Centre Inaugurated

Going further to create a pool of talented and skilled professionals, Ford India Pvt Ltd inaugurated its seventh Automotive Student Service Educational Training (ASSET) Centre at Shri Balwant Institute of Technology (SBIT), Sonepat (Delhi NCR).

Through this initiative, Ford India Pvt Ltd has set up an exclusive technical training corner within the premises of SBIT to train students on Ford Technology.

The newest Ford ASSET Centre in Sonepat will certify students for their understanding of Ford technology, thereby making them proficient in working across Ford and other automobile network across the country.

“We envision Ford ASSET program to become the primary source of trained manpower in the time to come who will ensure delightful after-sales experience thus winning trust of our customers”, said, N Prabhu, Vice President, Ford Customer Service Operations, Ford India Pvt Ltd while inaugurating the Centre on 12 April 2016. AM Pandurang, Deputy Commissioner – Sonepat expressed his view that this venture shall help the local youth to hone their skills. Among others, Padamshree Pritam Singh, Chairman Academic Advisory Council, SBIT and Former Director IIM Lucknow as well as MDI Gurgaon; C Devarajan, General Manager – Service Engineering Operations, Ford India Pvt Ltd; Saurabh Yadav, General Manager – Field Service Operations, Ford India Pvt Ltd ; N Balaji, Head – Technical Support Operations, Ford India Pvt Ltd; Harpreet Sachdev, Dealer Principal, Harpreet Motors Pvt Ltd were present as well.

Salient Features

· Aim of Ford Automotive Student Service Educational Training (ASSET) Centre is to enhance technical training, as well as career opportunities for students in and around National Capital Region (NCR)

· Exclusive Ford Technical training corner with training students practice kits including Ford training material, tool kit, component display and cut section to train students on Ford exclusive training curriculum.

· This is the first technical training collaboration by Ford India Pvt Ltd in Delhi NCR
