Shri Balwant Institute of Technology (SBIT), a leading institution, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Stride Ahead, a Delhi-based technology and education solutions company. The partnership aims to establish a cutting-edge Center of Excellence (CoE) in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) on the SBIT campus.
This strategic collaboration marks a significant step in SBIT’s mission to enhance academic-industry engagement and provide students with practical exposure to emerging technologies.

Key Objectives of MOU
- Set up an AI & ML Center of Excellence on the SBIT campus with access to licensed software, tools, and infrastructure.
- Conduct faculty development programs, guest lectures, and workshops on AI/ML trends.
- Provide mentorship, project guidance, and internship opportunities for students.
- Host joint technical events, hackathons, and industry-led seminars.
- Offer career guidance and placement preparation, including mock tests and pre-joining training.
The CoE will serve as a hub for hands-on learning, innovation, and project execution in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, with support from subject matter experts from Stride Ahead.
Mutual Commitments
Stride Ahead will:
- Deliver yearly FDPs, student orientation sessions, and AI/ML curriculum input.
- Provide expert mentors, project ideas, internships, and placement support.
- Involve SBIT students in Stride Ahead’s events and learning platforms.
SBIT will:
- Invest in and maintain infrastructure and software for the CoE.
- Train faculty in AI/ML and encourage student participation in the programme.
- Grant preferential campus recruitment access to Stride Ahead.
- Include Stride Ahead experts on advisory boards and seminar panels.
About the Collaboration
This MoU aims to equip SBIT students with the knowledge, skills, and exposure required for thriving careers in AI/ML and related fields. The collaboration is non-exclusive and reflects both parties’ shared commitment to enhancing educational quality and employability.
